We are definitely an active family. We especially love doing fun and creative things outdoors. One of our favorite things to do as a family is going camping by the sand dunes. Sure, it might look like nothing, but when you ride on a rzr with paddle tires, it’s a nonstop adventure! We love to camp out and stay at least two nights and we take advantage of the full day when we get there and half a day on the day we pack up to leave. As you can see, on this side, we have our rzr and our tent. It fits all four of us just fine. On the other side, we have our vehicle with the trailer and our “kitchen area” where all of our delicious meals and healthy drinks are made.
Besides driving around on the sand dunes, what else do we do? Well, we run around, collect sticks and logs for our early morning and evening fires, make up our own outdoor adventures (like imagining we are chasing aliens) and we play with the beautiful light-colored sand.
All of that running around gets us tired, and since we have been out in the chilly weather all day, we always have a nice, hot drink in the morning, for snack and in the evening.
Outdoor Family Adventures are the Best
We choose Nesquik chocolate mix for our preferred hot drink while we are having our outdoor family adventures. We prefer it because, as you can see in the picture, it has NO SUGAR ADDED, it tastes great, it is easy to carry and it has the vitamins and minerals that my children need to replenish every day, especially on camping days.
Since we don’t want to carry milk with us while camping because it would spoil quickly, I add 1 tbsp of organic powdered milk to every 3 tbsp of Nesquik chocolate mix into the popular and familiar Nesquik yellow container. That way, when we mix it with hot water, it is nice and creamy and delicious. It is so easy to make and perfect to take on camping adventures!
Outdoor family adventures are the best, but when the weather is chilly, it is important to know how to keep children warm. One way is to bring lots of layers and for them to wear a couple of pairs of socks on their feet. Another way to keep them warm is to keep them active. But the fun way to keep them warm and healthy with their nutrition replenished daily is with a warm cup of Nesquik chocolate mix.
