The materials are great for homeschooling or teaching small groups. They are good quality for the money. NAMC has a homeschooling program (ages 3-6) that comes with detailed instructions on diy materials for free or cheap. I haven’t used this program, but I did go through their early childhood training and use their manuals all the time. I am sure this program is as good as the rest of their materials (NAMC, that is). 🙂 Hope this helps.

Would like to teach my kids Montessori methods but I find their apparatus very expensive. Would like the Number rods and golden beads. Where do you buy yours?
