How Does CBD Oil Work?
What does CBD oil do? CBD oil, also called hemp oil, can be used to treat pain from chronic conditions like arthritis. It can also help with anxiety and depression.
Some people find that it helps alleviate cancer-related symptoms as well. It can kill or slows down bacteria growth, it can reduce blood sugar levels, reduces the risk of artery blockage, and much more!
CBD oil has the most medical benefits with the help of cannabinoid receptors.
These receptors can be found in your immune and nervous systems, in the connective tissues, organs and some glands, as well as other periphery structures.
It works therapeutically in your endocannabinoid system, which, in turn, stimulate the cannabinoid receptors.
Your body naturally produces these endocannabinoids, but, like with some vitamins and minerals, supplementation with CBD oil may be needed to reach the desired level of health faster and more effectively.
CBD oil is able to break through the cell walls and get in there to fix whatever the issue may be. In other words, it tries to keep your body in homeostasis, or balance (which is required for optimal health).
I hope this Science lessons didn’t brie you! I just wanted to give you a quick overview on how CBD oil actually works in your body and in your cells to enhance good health.

Each person responds differently to CBD oil, so if you’re trying to use it to treat a specific symptom, you will need to experiment a bit and see how it works for you.

What is CBD Oil?
CBD stands for “Cannabidiol.” This is a naturally occurring constituent of cannabis. However, it cannot get you high. It has none or no more than very minute levels of THC (the psychoactive cannabinoid that gets you “high”).
In short, it comes from the same plant, but it doesn’t have the part that causes mind-altering feelings like marijuana. There are many, many uses for it, which we will be discussing in other installments of this series.
