And now to some serious stuff...I have seen a lot of homeschooling pages, websites, parents, etc post this quote (below) or something similar to it. As much as it is true and I agree with it, I personally think that it is rude and insulting. Not because we feel that homeschooling is best for our family, that means we need to put a label on others that aren't like us. Judging parents for sending their children to public (or private) school is the same as judging parents for feeding their kids ... View the Post
Quick, easy and healthy lunch ideas for homeschoolers (or anyone)
I was asking around with friends and homeschooling websites about what they do for lunch on homeschooling day. I was obviously looking for something healthy, easy, delicious, kid-friendly and quick. Was I asking for too much? Not really. I was inspired to put this together and share what I collected. So, I take no credit, just happy to get such great ideas and pass along. The kids were super excited about playing with the worms.Crafty Things for MomI bought this awesome "buckle" when we went to Oklahoma earlier in the month. All I did was buy the beads and clasps to make my own ... View the Post

Inspiration...Montessori Science: AstronomyToday, we watched how NASA was testing some of their equipment on the military post we live in! It was pretty nice to watch and know that they were that close to us! I wish we could've seen it in person, but honestly, it was way too early, way too hot and there are way to many drop zones around here to know exactly which one they would be at. So, we watched it all in the comfort of our home. It was awesome! Bible: Scripture MemoryHere is a free ... View the Post
