Everyone knows of the yearly phenomenon known as Shark Week (on the Discovery Channel the first week in July) and we love it! It is a whole week of fantastic shark videos and shows where we enjoy watching these marvelous creatures from a (very) safe distance.
We learn so much from the shows and I wanted to offer some free shark activity coloring pages for your kids to really “bring it home” while still staying safe, haha.

Homeschool Printables: Shark Coloring Pages for Kids
In this post, you will be able to print out a beautiful set of six coloring pages, including a coloring book cover page. They are great and with many opportunities to practice coloring for you kids. These pages will keep them entertained for a long time. You could even have an art show where your children display their favorite shark work of art.
This is a very versatile book, with ink and paper-saving options. You can print each page as a full-size page, one-sided, which is what I would do for my 4-year old daughter. She likes big pages and, since her fine motor skills still need refining, I give her bigger pictures with bigger coloring spaces. I stack the pages and then staple along the right side of the page, length-wise. She is left-handed, so having the crease on the right side instead of the left.
For my 6-year old, with more refined fine motor skills, I can set up my printer to print 2 pages on one sheet of paper. Then I cut the sheets in half, stack them up and staple along the left side, lengthwise. And there’s his little coloring book! If I wanted to save ink, paper AND extra prep steps, I could print 2 pages on one sheet, but make it double-sided. That way, I would only use 3 pages. When it is ready, All I need to do is stack the pages, fold them in half and staple the booklet twice to keep the pages together. Isn’t that awesome?
Follow the instructions below to receive the printable in your email! The whole thing is only $1.00! Yay! Enjoy!
