Parts of a Seed Printable Bundle

This bundle will give children a pretty great idea on how the seed works.

In this bundle, we included two versions of the names of the 4 main parts of the seed.

We have the informal nomenclature: seed coat, stored food, embryo and first leaf.

We also have the formal nomenclature: testa, cotyledon, epicotyl and radicle.

These can be used for older children or for children that have learned the informal vocabulary first.

As you learn about the parts of a plant and parts of a tree, you will definitely want to include this parts of a seed bundle.
