Montessori Fall Bundle
These 10 activities are great for helping children with fine motor skills, vocabulary learning, some Botany terms, drawing skills and more!
So, let me give you the list of these activities when you do Montessori at home.
1 Fall child hair decoration:
Use the leaves and other Fall items to decorate children’s hair and hats.
Whether children are doing Montessori School at home or not, this bundle activity is perfect for anyone.
As children develop socially, emotionally and more, they also develop their personalities and preferences.
This activity is so special because it lets children get creative and unique in their creations.
2 Cutting practice:
Begin with pages that have straight lines, then wavy and lastly, the shapes.
Children learn to cut by practice.
This set has 2 pages in 3 different cutting levels, according to difficulty.
3 Drawing grids:
If your children are working to draw or to be more specific on mirroring, this is awesome.
Learn symmetry and drawing by copying the leaf halves on the cards.
4 Lace looming:
Cut out the shapes and use a whole punch to make holes on the white circles.
Use a think ribbon or a shoelace to lace all the way around.
There are two basic ways of looming them.
Even though these are not written lesson plans, just follow the tutorial videos to see how to set them up and how to do them.
5 Leaf feeding activity:
Print the brown burlap sheet on regular paper. The leaves on cardstock.
Cut out the brown burlap strips and tape or glue together to make a long band.
Glue or tape the “button” and color band to each end of the strip.
Cut out the leaves and use an exact-o knife to cut the slits in the middle.
For durability, laminate.
Feed the leaves through the button (the strip on the other end will stop them from falling off).
6 Paper strip looming:
Print out the sheets you want to use for your project.
You need 1 base sheet (with solid strips on each end) and 1 strip sheet (with leaf patterns).
Cut the base strips, stopping at the solid strips (don’t cut through those!).
The leaf pattern strips are cut all the way through.
Feed perpendicularly through the base sheet, over and under, alternating until all the strips are loomed.
Glue them down as an option.
7 Parts of a fruit printables:
Montessori education loves focusing on nature and this includes Botany studies.
Cut out the labels and follow the control of error.
8 Parts of a leaf printables:
Cut out the labels and follow the control of error.
9 Fall leaf patterns:
Learn 4 different patterns – ABAB, AABAAB, ABBABB and ABCABC.
Cut out the leaf squares and place them or glue them in the correct spot.
Use the answer sheets as a control of error.
It is a great addition to your homeschool curriculum because it teaches logic, sequencing, critical thinking and deduction.
10 Fall Alphabet 3-part cards:
Print this set twice if you want to use them as 3-part cards.
Or once if you want to use them as alphabet flashcards use just one set.
So what do you think?
Isn’t this an awesome set?!
