A little video to begin with…
Happy birthday, to my ball of energy! I can’t believe he’s four years old!
The Star of Christmas (instead of the Elf on the Shelf): Christmas is about TRUST
The star was up on the picture frame! Do you see it?
Ready for Church!
The Star of Christmas: Christmas is about SHARING
This is where we are keeping all of our Start of Christmas letters and gifts. |
French: Joyeux Noël!
We were going to get more technical about French and Christmas terms, but then I found this craft and couldn’t help myself! They turned out great! All we needed was construction paper and contact paper, a hole punch, scissors and markers.
We kept repeating over and over how to say Merry Christmas in French. They all sound great. 🙂
Kidz Klub (our last one for now)
We realized that our schedule was getting quite full and we were getting so busy with so much that our homeschooling time was less and less. Everything we were doing was fun and great, especially our volunteer time, but it was consuming too much of our time.
After praying and talking to my husband about this, we decide that we would stop going to Kidz Klub. K loved it, but he wasn’t really getting as much out of it because it was geared towards older children and it was interfering with A’s nap time (which is very important at this age and for all of our sanity, haha).
It was bittersweet. I was really looking forward to the extra homeschooling time, but I knew K would miss it and I would miss all of the children there and our interaction (that was the only place I saw most of them).
Now that we have resumed a regular homeschooling schedule, I am so glad that we made the decision we did.
Star of Christmas: Christmas is about CELEBRATION
K was celebrating his birthday. He got some nice cards and gifts.
Spanish: Feliz Navidad
¡Español! We reviewed some of the things we have been learning and we learned to say “Merry Christmas” in Spanish. We sang the song “Feliz Navidad” and I showed them a video of the song (from YouTube).
We practiced it several times and then played it in the background as the students colored the nativity scene. I kept the sheets because we will practice again next week and sing to everyone at our co-op Christmas Party.
Facetime with my sister and K’s favorite breakfast… Love it!

I absolutely LOVE Young Living products! They have changed our family’s life! We have successfully moved from over-the-counter medications to using essential oils medicinally. We couldn’t be happier to be moving into a more natural and holistic lifestyle.
