This is part 1 where I will give you recommendations for Math resources for homeschoolers.
We love having and using them and I am sure you will, too.
There are many great math resources for homeschoolers available these days.
With a little bit of research, you can find the perfect fit for your family.
If you are looking to becoming a centered, organized homeschooling parent, nurture happy, independent children and want to create smooth, successful homeschool days, then you are in the right place!

There are a ton of great math resources for homeschoolers out there. Here are just a few of our favorites:
#1 Math-U-See Integers:
This is a great resource for teaching math concepts in a visual and concrete way.
The blocks are color-coded and help students to see the relationships between numbers.
These manipulative can be used over and over because they are very durable.
They’re also used over a span of years because they can be used for many Math topics.
To use this resource, you will need the Integer Block Set and the corresponding Student Workbook is optional.
The workbook contains lessons and practice problems.
The lessons are easy to follow and provide a step-by-step introduction to each concept.
The practice problems are excellent for helping kids to solidify their understanding.
Math-U-See Manipulatives Integer Block Kit
#2 The Verbal Math Lesson (Books 1, 2 and 3):
These books are no-prep and low-tech (you don’t even need a pencil!).
They are great for auditory learners and provide a different way of thinking about math concepts.
We have used these books with our kids from about age 5 through 12 and they have all loved them.
Each lesson in the book starts with a list of words that will be used in the math problems.
The words are then defined in a way that is easy for kids to understand.
After the definitions, there are several practice problems.
These are followed by the “real” math problem.
The answer to the problem is given in word form, so that kids can see how the math concepts relate to everyday language.

#3 Math Dictionary for Kids:
This is a great reference book to have on hand. It’s perfect for kids who are visual learners and need a little extra help understanding math concepts.
This dictionary is packed with hundreds of definitions and illustrations.
Each definition is written in kid-friendly language.
The illustrations are colorful and provide another way of understanding the concept.
This book is sure to be a valuable resource for any homeschooling family.
