As a homeschooling mom, do you ever find the time to read? I mean, to read for fun, not out of obligation like textbooks for lesson planning and such. Do you? If you do, then that is wonderful! If you don’t I highly recommend you do. It is important for moms to find time for themselves and to unwind and to read for fun.
But don’t read just for reading’s sake; read for growth in your Christian faith, even if it isn’t a self-help book. In this post, I am happy to present to you a wonderful book that you will enjoy and get inspiration out of it. And I have more great news! We have a giveaway for this ebook! Ten (10) winners will receive one (1) copy of this ebook (the book in digital form)! Enter at the end of the post.
Christian Fiction Book Review
The book that I am talking about is Susanna Don’t You Cry. You can get it in digital form or in print. I received a digital copy, which I found helpful. I am a physical book kind of gal, but in this case, having the ebook on my laptop, my phone and my Kindle was perfect for our international trip. You can see all of the ordering options here, but let me tell you a little bit more about this book.
Susanna Don’t You Cry is a Christian book. It is about a broken family and how, through faith, patience, forgiveness and lots of work, the family is restored. I highly enjoyed the storyline and how it kept me at the edge of my seat. At times, it was hard to put it down. I felt what the characters were going through and how rough they had it for years.
The setting for the book is contemporary, so it is easier to relate. When I was reading this book, I could definitely feel the encouragement of hope, the expectation that things would get better, especially when the family gave their lives to Christ. That is when the real journey began. It was great to see how imperfect sinners can still turn their lives around and they can live their lives for Christ.
In this Christian fiction book review, I want to make sure you know that I highly recommend this book and that I believe that you will enjoy it as much as I did. To order go here. To read more about a great book for teens, written by the author’s brother, go here.

You asked to whom I would give this ebook, but I wasn’t thinking of giving it away, only reading it myself.
