For our DIY homemade gift wrap, we opted to use these awesome stampers because they are very affordable, they have many designs, they come in different colors and they include an ink pad for ease of use.
You do have to watch the kids at all times because it could get a bit messy.
The fact that these ink pads are in each stamper, makes it easier to keep things clean.
You can also use Christmas stickers, Christmas foam stickers, Christmas glittery stickers, Christmas foam stickers or even Christmas scrapbook stickers.
These kinds of stickers are easier to use than stampers and a great option to go with these if you don’t want to get a bit messy.

Alright, now that we have talked about several DIY Christmas gift wrapping ideas, let me show you how we decorated some of our gifts.
I loved some coloring calendars and decided to get about a dozen to give to friends and some of the kids’ gymnastics and golf teachers.
They were wrapped with butcher paper and then the tag was attached with pretty Christmas thread.
I let my kids decide on how to decorate them. They could mix them all up, they could use patterns or they could choose a theme.
A gift had only candy canes. Another one had only snowflakes.
They stamped them in random places and some were stamped in straight lines or in the shape of a circle. It was fun getting creative!
Are you ready to make your own now? What materials will you use for the gifts?
I’ll bet the loved ones that receive the gifts in handmade gift wrap will really enjoy them!
