Yes, moms, you CAN finally get your homeschool organized by using the best planner there is out there.
I am excited to review The Ultimate Homeschool Planner by Apologia Educational Ministries.
In this post, I will tell you how I love using our homeschool planner and ways in which having a homeschool planner is paramount to keep our lives halfway sane (and I am sure you know exactly what I mean). ๐
I got the orange The Ultimate Homeschool Planner, but there is also a yellow version and a blue version.
In my almost 5 years of homeschooling, this is the most complete planner I have seen.
It comes with four years’ worth of calendars at a glance and a very thorough explanation on how the planner is used and several option on how to implement their suggestions.
How The Ultimate Homeschool Planner works
It can be used for students of all ages. The Ultimate Homeschool Planner even includes a High School Planning Guide!
It is 263 pages long and its price is $29. I love how many options it gives for scheduling our homeschool.
There is a (suggested) yearly retreat form, monthly planning sessions sheets, weekly planning breaks pages and even a schedule for morning tutorials and afternoon reviews (explained at the beginning of the planner).
There are planning grids, goal setting pages, pre-planning guides and even year in review pages.
The core of the planner, though, includes very helpful and organized monthly and weekly planners, record sheets for grades, reading lists and activities as well as checklists for students and moms.

How I used The Best Homeschool Planner
Alright, I confess, I was going to the post office daily (sometimes even twice a day) to check the mail.
I was excitedly awaiting for The Ultimate Homeschool Planner to arrive.
As soon as I got it and flipped through it, I began filling it out.
It only took me a day or two to get used to consulting it because it has been so helpful to me.
I love lists over block schedules or setting a specific time for everything.
I prefer to have a list and have the satisfaction of checking the items off as I complete them.
I use The Ultimate Homeschool Planner as my only guide and let me tell you, it works.
Every weekly planner includes plenty of space to use for large families, too.
What I think of The Ultimate Homeschool Planner
I can tell you, hands down, that this is the best homeschool planner I have ever come across during my homeschooling years.
I highly recommend it and I am so thankful to have it.
My favorite parts about it is that there is so much room to list everything we are doing right now and I can tell it work for us in years to come, as our homeschooling becomes more intense.
I also love it that it includes space for Notes, Supplies and Appointments.
It is also plastered with amazingly inspiring and motivational quotes.
Another cool aspect of this planner is that it has a weekly page for Bible Plans, Battle Plans, Verses, Prayers and Hospitality as well as Memorable Moments and Evidences of Grace.
Seriously, it is SO complete that it can be used by every homeschool!
