Naughty… It only took me a minute to run the sheets to the washer and when I got back, this is what I found.
We went to a drop zone where we got to see some parachutists do their thing. It is always awesome (and I secretly thank God that it isn’t me up there!).
Sweet baby girl, now two years old, working on her Math skills.
We went to the farm to eat lunch. Such a beautiful and fun place! We didn’t pick our own produce this time, but we love doing that!
We love it at the farm so much that we went a second time! THeir food is so amazing and our time there is always lovely. We also went to the playground afterward.
Several people have asked me what supplements I use. Here are a couple. Since I purchased the Chlorella, I have learned that thin-cell wall is better than broken-cell, so I will be getting that from Healthy Families for God when this bottle is gone. 🙂 I love fermented cod liver oil from this company. It really is the best.
Banana bread (egg free, dairy free, delicious). Recipe HERE.
We used a really cool and special book to review. They all had fun making the little figurines and putting them in the different rooms in the house.
For some reason, it takes the children about three times longer to retain French, compared to Spanish. My theories are:
1. Spanish is easier in general and more widely used/listened to. French has different vocab, different pronunciation and different intonation.
2. Less likely than the first, learning both Spanish and French might be interfering, but like I said, French doesn’t seem to be affecting Spanish, so it shouldn’t be the other way around. French is just a harder language overall. 🙂
We are so happy to have her! She is learning super fast. 🙂
To continue with our “All About Me” Spanish lapbook, today, we did our parents’ phone numbers and said them in Spanish. They did great. We also practiced following instructions, attentive listening, cutting and gluing skills, etc.
