Eric Carle Picture Books for Preschoolers and Kinders
Preschoolers and kinders are all about sounds and buttons, as well as learning to read left to right and practice learning to turn pages. Preschoolers can still use board books since the pages are easier to turn. Kinders will enjoy beginning to read their ABCs and follow along their own rhyming book. These are really, really fun.

Eric Carle Picture Books for Elementary Kids
I chose these books for elementary kids because the stories are fun to read and also to make an activity. You can read the moon book and then create a beautiful moon as an art project. You can find my tutorial for it here. Also, you can read the seed book and plant some seeds afterward or read the pancake book and then make some yummy pancakes! They will also enjoy learning about and discussing the parts of the story (character, plot, setting, etc).
