In this post, I will show you some of my daughter’s favorite gifts and why they are so special.
Maybe you will love something so much that you’ll get it for your girly toddler or maybe this post will inspire you to get some items that will make your girly toddler think and learn.
Her creativity will flourish like never before.
Do you have a girly toddler?
My daughter is three years old and she is as girly as can be.
She is always wearing princess dresses, asking for girly gifts and is sweet and dainty almost all the time.
It is cute how she loves to tell me bedtime stories and all of her stories start with
“Once upon a time, there was a Princess and she had a purple dress and purple sunglasses…”
As I was thinking about what to get for her for her play area and her bedroom, I wanted to do two things:
1) I wanted her room to be decorated according to her likes and personality and
2) I wanted her to have things in her room that she would boost creativity and self-esteem and be safe at the same time.
Creative Gifts
When it comes to giving a girly girl gifts, not only do we want them to be beautiful, but I believe that they should also be educational and/or spark creativity in the child.
I was so excited that my sister-in-law gave Sister a set of Balancing Ballerinas for her to play with.
She loves creating different towers and forms.
I can see her focus and attention to details as well as good eye-hand coordination.
Another two toys we love that encourage fine motor skills, gentleness and great care are the Deluxe Magnetic Dress-Up Set and the Tea Set (Solid Wood Version).
When I want Sister to practice her gross motor skills, then she will love playing with the Enchanted Castle Train Set and the 50 Piece Wooden Blocks Set is her absolute favorite.
Dainty Dolls
Younger children are naturally fascinated with the concept of nesting.
Nesting dolls like the wooden world globe with 8 multicultural dolls or the Set of 5 Cutie Nesting Dolls are great for girly toddlers to play with and enjoy concentration, object discrimination and dexterity.
If you are looking for a family, the Royal Family Wooden Doll Set is a wonderful one.
My daughter also likes small and dainty wooden dolls. She plays with them with much care and she is extra gentle.
These are great skills to practice.
Take a look at her favorite two: Miniature Fairytale Fairy Doll is the girl you see with pink wings in the picture above.
The Miniature Fairytale Ballerina Doll is also adorable.

Ballet
How can I talk about girly gifts and not mention ballet and tutus and pink?
Of course, that is impossible, so here are our favorite picks:
Little Girls’ Quilted Ballet Backpack
You will find that once your toddler is wearing her tutu, she will totally get into character and start dancing and singing and simply enjoying her freedom of movement, which is absolutely essential for physical health and brain development.
Soft Dolls
Toddler girls like soft and cuddly dolls because they can hold them and hug them and even take them to bed with them at night.
My daughter’s two favorites are the Ballerina Girl Natural Rag Doll with a pink tutu and the beautiful purple Fairy Natural Rag Doll.
Both dolls are made with all-natural fibers, dyes and materials.
We also like to have just a few stuffed animals that are special to us.
We have a teddy bear ballerina very similar to this Purple Tutu Teddy Bear.
I also found this 17″ Ballerina Doll that is so cute and perfect for a toddler’s arms.
Natural Flowers
Something that you might not have thought of to give as a gift to a girly toddler is a bouquet of natural flowers.
Imagine what face your little girl would make if you gave her a bouquet of natural flowers.
At home, we buy one bouquet a month and I always make a smaller bouquet for Sister.
She has her own small and beautiful vases that she can pick from to create her own arrangement.
You can see how she does it here. In the picture above, you can see how her arrangement is sitting right next to mine.
Just find a couple of vases like this one or like this one and every few weeks or months, surprise your girly toddler with a small flower arrangement.
Books
The Princesses Book that you see in the pictures above has been Sister’s absolute favorite.
It is a sticker book! She gets to dress the princesses up!
The cool thing is that the stickers are easy to peel so she can readjust them or she can simply switch outfits on the princess.
It is a super awesome book.
There is also a Sticker Dolly Activity Pack that has more of these kinds of books.
Ladybug Girl is another cute book about dressing up and wearing creative costumes.
Sister likes to get ideas and inspiration from books and conversations and bedtime stories to find new ways to dress up and get into character.
It is fun!
This Girls’ Activity Book is one that my daughter loves.
It has all kinds of coloring pages and games that keep her busy and happy for a long time.
Even though this book says it is for ages 6 and up, my daughter (who is 3 years old) and do many of the activities with me and once she only has more difficult activities, I will keep it safe for her for when she is older.
Well, now that you have seen what my girly toddler owns and loves, which gift got your attention the most?
Isn’t the set of Balancing Ballerinas the coolest?
Or did you like the Miniature Fairytale Ballerina Doll better?
