We have been having a lot of fun with our flower activities for kids series! We have flower matching memory cards and flower handwriting worksheets. Now, we have a fun color sorting activity. Take a look at how my little girl got creative to color sort and practice her fine motor skills.

Flower Activities for Kids
First, we printed the activity (in this post) in color and I let my little girl cut the flower squares and the blank squares. She had fun going through each one and learn the flower names. She pointed out her favorite ones. I also took the opportunity to introduce a color that she didn’t know much about: cream. She enjoyed learning about a new color.
Next, she sorted the flowers by color next to the piece of paper and used a glue stick to secure them down.
She soon noticed that there weren’t 3 orange flowers. Well, that is where the blank squares come into play. She got to draw her own orange flowers!
