North America for Kids
There are 7 continents in the world and North America is one of them.
These 3-part cards include a few cards with a North America map for kids to learn the outline of the map and also the countries that are included in this continent.
Like I said, North America includes the countries of United States, Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, Greenland, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, among others (23 in total), but we will focus on the three main countries of United States, Canada and Mexico.
After reading our books, we went onto finding maps of North America so kids can easily find them on a flat map as well as on a globe.
Both are important because they show two different ways of seeing and studying the planet.

Fun Geography Lessons of North America
And now, onto the lesson activity! I introduced the kids to the four North America 3-part cards and we discussed them.
They could see the map, the outline of the continent and other important concepts to learn and remember.
After studying the map of North America for kids to find quickly, I then showed them that the entire continent actually consists of several countries.
I introduced the United States first because we live there and because they are the most familiar with.
I showed them the four 3-part cards for the United States and we learned these facts about it.
To continue these fun Geography lessons, we then went onto learning about our neighboring countries.
Canada is our neighbor on the north and Mexico is our neighbor to the south.
It was fun letting them use the 3-part cards of Canada and Mexico and then letting them add the ones of the United States.
Comparing and contrasting was fun.
Using the North America 3-part cards really solidified a lot about this continent.
