If you have been following us for a while, you know well that we love Geography in our homeschool!
We study it all the time and there is so much that it covers, not just map.
It covers locations, globe information, countries, people, cultures, currency, flags, types of government and even fauna and flora from the different habitats and regions!
In this post, we will be sharing some awesome Geography gifts for kids that will make great gifts for the holiday, birthdays or for any occasion.

Geography Subscriptions
Monthly Geography package subscriptions are the perfect gifts for map lovers because they are the gifts that keep on giving!
We personally LOVE Little Passports!
The way we got into this subscription is when my parents got one year subscription for each of my children.
One got the Early Edition (ages 3-5) and the other got the World Edition (ages 6-10).
Both are so much fun and my children enjoy receiving the packages every month.
Picture 1 Here is the Little Passports Early Edition (the orange one). It is for ages 3-5.
Every month, your child receives a package that focuses on a different topic from our wonderful, big world!
Every month, it covers topics from international food to sports and natural wonders as well as animals and their habitats.
Children begin learning about Geography and the world around them from a very young age.
Picture 2 Next, is the World Edition Little Passports monthly subscription. It is for ages 6-10.
This one focuses on a different country every month.
Children learn about their world, one country at a time.
They have toys, games, activity books, recipes and so much more!
Picture 3 We also enjoyed this USA Edition from Little Passports. It is for ages 7-12.
And it covers the United States and all the awesome and special things that go on in each of the 50 states.
It is a lot of fun to study this beautiful country more in-depth with every month’s delivery.
Picture 4 This is a really fun unit to study as an extension to our Geography studies.
This is a “Coins of the World” unit with real coins from different countries and information as well as activities about them.

Picture 5 We had a blast with this Kid Science Lab Kits: Extreme Weather!
It comes complete with what you need to study volcanoes, snow and tornadoes.
We loved how hands-on learning took place with this kit.
It isn’t a monthly subscription (the coin collection above isn’t either), but they are both really great extensions for our Geography studies.

As part of our Geography studies, we love studying languages as well.
We use great curricula, including Dino Lingo to learn them.
