This is one of the Spanish interactive activities that we have done in our homeschool co-op to learn numbers 0-10 in Spanish and it is offered for free here in this post!
It is awesome to watch children learn a new language as quickly as these students are.
Spanish vocabulary will become a lot easier the more they practice and the more interactive the activities are.
You don’t need complex lesson plans for this Spanish numbers activity. I will walk you through the entire activity, ok?
Students Practice Spanish Numbers
Language learning is for everyone, so don’t cut yourself (or your kids) short!
If you have children between ages 5 and 12, they will definitely enjoy doing this activity.
Simply print one copy for each child in black and white.
Instead of having your kids write the numbers (boring!) in your Spanish classes, have them draw their favorite, but easy, little pictures or scribbles.
It is a simple list of numbers in Spanish and a rectangle next to each number with the English translation in the corner.
The activity was to draw pictures to represent each number.
For example, the Spanish word for six is “seis.”
The student draws six pictures of something in the rectangle next to the number word.
You can make it as simple or as intricate as you want.
The kids can practice number names in Spanish as they count the little pictures that they draw.
Printable Spanish Numbers
You can have them draw pictures with pencil or have students color the pictures.
To make it more fun, you can use dot markers, tiny stickers or even stamps.
