We love Winter and all of the holiday that come with it, especially home decorations!

Especially, we love the weather changing! It is colder and it’s fun to bundle up.

The thought of snow and snowflake offers a cozy feeling of fluffy coats and sweet, hot drinks.

Snowflake Pop-up Books and Cards

We always begin our lessons and activities by reading some books!

Homeschool Printable i Spy Snowflake Games

We really enjoyed this set of free printable snowflake iSpy sheets.

I made 2 levels for these. One child can begin with Level 1 and move on to Level 2 or, like in my case, I gave my 5-year old the Level 1 and my 7-year old the Level 2.

The difference between the two levels is simple:

Level 1 has the i Spy activity, but it tells the child how many snowflakes to look for in each design (3 or 4).

Level 2 has more snowflakes and it only shows the snowflake design for the child to count and write down the number, which range between 1 and 7.

With Level 2, the answers are on the paper (small and upside-down).

Since the two levels are different, kids can take more or less time completing the activity.

My son, the smartypants of the two, thought I’d make both activities where they have the same number of snowflakes for each kind.

Nice try. Haha!

Once he figured out that he could have as many as 7 snowflakes for one single design, he really started to focus.

Both kids did awesome and enjoyed it very much.
