The Verbal Math Lesson. It is so amazing! I love looking at my son’s smiling face when he thinks hard and is successful. The Verbal Math Lesson is a series of three books that advance in level of difficulty as they go along. Book 1 is for ages 5-7, Book 2 is for ages 7-8 and Book 3 is for ages 8-10. We are about halfway through Book 1 right now and we are loving it!
How do we use The Verbal Math Lesson set in our homeschool? The lessons are short and divided into Exercises and Word Problems. We start with a lesson and go as far as we can. Some days, we complete a full lesson and some days, we stop at the end of the Exercises and the next day, we pick up on the Word Problems. It is relaxed and fun and super effective. Watch this video.
I am excited to see how this simple set of books will be more than a treasure for our children in their learning. Our brains are so amazing that it is paramount to keep them sharp and active.
