Pledge of Allegiance to the Christian flag
As a Christian mother, it is important to me that my children grow up having a firm foundation on the Christian values that we embrace as a family.
Honoring God, the Bible and even the Christian flag are very important things to us.
The Christian flag is a very special symbol to us as Christians because it represents Christ and who we are in him.
It is more than just respecting a flag that the Christian faith has adopted.
The Pledge of Allegiance to the Christian flag says:
“I pledge allegiance to the Christian flag and to the Savior for whose kingdom it stands.
One Savior, crucified, risen and coming again with life and liberty for all who believe.”
See, The Pledge of Allegiance to the Christian flag is also pledging allegiance to our Savior, Jesus Christ.
We honor him and respect him by acknowledging what he did for us while he was here on the earth.
Christian Flag Pledge
The Christian flag is a white flag with a square in navy blue on the top left corner of the white area.
Inside the dark blue square, there is a red cross.
What do the white, blue and red represent?
Space according to Auburn University, “The white on the flag represents purity and peace.
The blue stands for faithfulness, truth, and sincerity.
Red, of course, is the color of sacrifice, in this case calling to mind the blood shed by Christ on Calvary, represented by the cross.” (Source)
When we look at the Christian flag, we always remember why we are saved and how we are saved and who made it possible for us to be saved and gaining eternal life.
This important symbol is special because of all the reasons that I have mentioned above.
This is why you should teach your children the Pledge of Allegiance to the Christian flag.
It doesn’t mean that they are worshiping the flag, it is simply a reminder that like every country, we also have a flag in God’s kingdom because we are not of this world.

The Christian flag and its pledge point to Jesus Christ as their Savior and his sacrifice for us.
This is the very center of the Christian faith.
It is important that we raise our children, knowing the very center of the Christian faith, especially if we want them to follow and embrace the Christian faith that you embrace.
Here, you can download a printable Christian flag coaster with the Pledge of Allegiance.
You can print it out (I recommend on cardstock, in color and laminate it for durability) and display it in your homeschool room or have it somewhere where your children can see it regularly.

Every weekday when we homeschool, we say the Pledge of Allegiance to the American flag, the Pledge of Allegiance to the Christian flag and the Pledge of Allegiance to the Bible.
We have all three laminated posters next to each other and they are part of our routine.
We appreciate and love our country, we appreciate and love God’s kingdom and we love and appreciate God’s word, so we honor or three every weekday and I homeschool.
Thank you!
