The million-dollar question is: erosion vs weathering… which is which and how can you easily tell the difference between the two? Erosion is the process in which rocks and soil break off into smaller pieces by wind, water and ice.
There are different types of erosion and there are several weathering processes. These ideas on how erosion occurs, how deposition takes place or the different ways that weathering occurs are wonderful and very helpful.
