Effects of Weathering and Erosion
Let’s get started on our “erosion and weathering for kids” studies!
Simply get the printable set, print it twice and cut the card out as 3-part cards are supposed to (instructions are in the printable itself).
Then you are ready to start the presentation. With 3-part cards, the control of error is easy because there is an identical card with the nomenclature.
There are 24 cards (48, once you print the set twice).
Twelve cards have pictures that point to erosion with an arrow and there are twelve cards that are identical, except that they point to weathering with an arrow.
That’s right! All of the pictures have both erosion and weathering in one place!
You can use them as 3-part cards or use just the images without the nomenclature to have children learn to discriminate between erosion and weathering.
