This is a fantastic craft with weathering, erosion and deposition images and facts.
They are all set up in a fun wheel that will help kids learn a lot.
Some of the things that they will learn are the similarities and the difference of each of these environmental effects on the earth.
Craft Materials
To make this rotating wheel, you need:
- cardstock (Thicker paper lasts longer. If you don’t have cardstock, you can print it on regular paper, but glue the two wheels on paper plates and then cut them to the size of the wheels. This will provide more support.)
- color printer,
- scissors,
- brass fastener,
- crayons or markers

To put together this craft with pictures of erosion, weathering and deposition, you need to download the printable (in this post).
Then, print it on cardstock (one set per child).
Cut both wheels and have your kids color the images that will be true to reality.
Use a bracket to secure both wheels, making sure they overlap exactly.
It will be fun to use the wheel to learn all about these three kinds of environmental changes.
They will also use it to review the terms erosion, weathering and deposition.
Have kids read the content and also quiz each other.
