As a busy mother that homeschools two very active kids, I find that I don’t have much time for myself.

I have to get over the mommy guilt and make time for myself, otherwise, I’ll never get a pedi or go out for coffee with a good friend.

In this post, I will share with you one thing I do to find super cute fashionable clothes without spending hours and hours looking for them.

I am talking about none other than Stitch Fix and Rosegal.

Have you heard of them?

Let me tell you about Stitch Fix first.

You go to the Stitch Fix site, fill out a really fun questionnaire about your fashion preferences (according to your needs and wants at the moment) and set up a date for your box to be delivered.

They send you a box every month or every two and up to every 3 months.

You choose. I picked every other month.

In the box, you will receive 5 items, which you can tell them what you need most.

They can send you a mix of a top, a bottom (shorts, skirt or pants), a dress and accessories like shoes, belts, scarves and even some jewelry.

I opted for no accessories, as I seem to have the most of (and use the least of, to be honest).

You can also give specifics on your personal sense of style and very particular preferences (like if you love or detest a certain texture, pattern, color, fit, cut, material, fabric, etc.

I asked my stylist to not send me clothes that are yellow or green as they aren’t flattering colors for me.

I also asked for nothing too fitted or short since I want to be able to use them on the daily and sit on the floor with my kids to read and such.

I also asked Stitch Fix to send me only items that can be washed and dried at home (NO dry cleaning) and that require NO ironing before wearing.

I’m a practical gal and my goal for these are to look cute, but not to invest hours on looking cute with dry cleaning and ironing.

You know what I mean?

Oh and I also asked for affordable items since they will be everyday outfits for me.

The best part is that if something doesn’t fit or if there is something that you don’t like, returns/exchanges are a breeze.

You get a pre-paid envelope to send items back and that’s it!

Once you do decide what you will keep, you do get a great discount if you buy all 5 items.

You just log into your account online and pay.

Once your box arrives, you have 3-5 days to try the items at home and decide whether you like them or not.

So far, I have been very happy on how well my stylist has caught onto my ideas.

She does send some pieces that I would’ve never picked for myself sometimes, but I do love them and I am glad to get a second opinion on what would fit me well.
