Keeping the Everyday Mom in Style

Hey, there! I’m writing this for all moms.

This post is for moms on the go, for busy moms, for working moms, for homeschooling moms, for all moms!

I have found a way of keeping the everyday mom in style.

Moms have a tendency of putting everyone’s needs before their own, but now, you will have a way of looking awesome without spending hours and hours and hours shopping around and trying on clothes.

Yes!

It can be done!

Let me tell you how.

Mommy Fashion Blogs

Let me make it clear that this is not a mommy style blog, but I do like to share good tips with mom that have worked for me. Here is the one tip I am focusing on: mommy fashion.

I simply don’t have time to go shopping around and actually look for clothes that I might like.

And I most definitely don’t have the time to try on any clothes that are potential candidates for purchase.

So I decided to look into Stitch Fix.

No, I did not get free items to review or promote this.

I simply decided to try it and see if it was a feasible and easier way for moms to find great items to add to their wardrobes.

Honestly, it is just so hard to stay in fashion as a mom!

Isn’t that the truth?!

How Does Stitch Fix Work?

Stitch Fix is a website where you go to fill out a series of questions about your sense of style and such.

It was actually really fun, especially the part where they show you several outfits and you pick the ones you’d wear.

Then, you tell them how often you would like to receive a box and items that you’d like to receive.

For example, if you are short on tops, you can request that they send tops only.

If you have too many shoes, you can specify for them to not send you shoes, etc.

Then, at the specified time, they send you a box with 5 items.

You try them on and determine if you like them or not. You can buy any items you do like.

But if you like all 5 and choose to purchase them all, you get an awesome discount!

If you don’t like items, all you have to do is put them in the self-addressed, paid envelope and mail it back.

No fuss, no problem.

What I like the best is that I get to try these items on in the comfort of my own home, at night, after the kids have gone to bed, so there are no interruptions. 🙂

Casual Mom Style

Alright, so, I have gotten a few boxes from Stitch Fix so far and I want to share about them.

Stitch Fix definitely arms moms with style, ideas and inspiration that will work for them on the daily.

I specified that I wanted the most affordable items (simply because I don’t like to break the bank for a decent wardrobe) and casual (because I homeschool, so I need to look nice without being too dressy).

Most importantly, I asked for items that don’t wrinkle easily and items that are not dry cleaned.

What mom wants to wear clothes on the daily that need to be ironed?

And who has time to be wearing dry cleaned items daily?

Not me, that’s for sure!
