Have you been looking for something to teach your children with more than books of the Bible worksheets? Do you need a great Bible curriculum that teaches straight from the Bible that includes researching, reading, discussing, memorizing, notebooking about, praying about, crafting on and sharing the Bible? In this post, we will share with you some great printable books of the Bible worksheets and complete curriculum! Come and find out how we use it and how we are liking it.
Bible Road Trip™ from Danika Cooley at Thinking Kids Press is an engaging, fun, three-year Bible survey curriculum for preschool through high school. That means that if you start in preschool, you can take your child all the way through the Bible five times by the time he or she graduates from high school.
This goes beyond books of the bible worksheet printable sets and books of the bible activity pages…these are incredible studies that make the Bible come alive and go as in-depth or as superficial as you want! These printable books of the Bible studies are divided onto three years! Click on the image below to learn more about each!
We recently started Year 1 and the kids are already super excited about it! In looking down the road on our digital file (years 1, 2 and 3), I can definitely see how this curriculum will teach us a lot about the Bible. Please know that not only does it go into the stories in the Bible, but it also teaches the importance of the Bible itself as a holy book, information about the Bible being written for us and also how it impacts our lives personally.
Bible Road Trip™ is a three-year Bible survey curriculum for preschool through high school. It has books of the Bible printable worksheets that go into detail, using the Bible as the main textbook. In just three years, your family will learn the whole Bible, focusing on the overarching themes of Scripture:
- Who God is
- Our fallen nature
- God’s sovereignty
- God’s plan for salvation through Christ
- Our relationship with God
These books of the Bible printables are fun, engaging, interactive and beautiful. Don’t worry, though! Even though these books of the Bible activity sheets are in the hundreds, not all of them are in color. Like us, you can also break the printing down to a few lessons at a time. I print some in color and some in black and white. The draft setting on our printer saves us ink. I also print ours on both sides to save using a lot of paper.

Bible Road Trip™ is written for five levels of study, so you can study all together as a family at deepening levels. Teaching the books of the Bible with worksheets is ok, but using the Bible as the main textbook takes Bible studies to a whole other level!
Your high school student can study more of the Bible, and at a deeper level of understanding, than your preschooler can. But with Bible Road Trip™ your family can still explore and discuss your studies all together as a group. I have a 4th grader and a 1st grader. We use the same curriculum! Isn’t that awesome?!
The Bible (THIS is the Bible version we recommend because it is the closest translation to the original) is the main textbook, but there are a couple of other helpful books that we are using when we want to go more in-depth with text, background information, maps and charts. Take a look!
