There are some fun superhero books out there and we enjoy reading them. You can see some of our favorites HERE. But in this post, I decided to make our very own printable superhero books! It will be part of a series that I have been plotting and scheming about. This one in particular is the Superhero sketch book edition!

Be a Superhero Creator
Take all of the pages and fold them all in exactly half (both edges must meet and make a very crisp crease). Show your kids the pages and let them arrange them in the order they prefer, keeping the cover page for the top, of course.
Kids will love looking through this perfect superhero database! It has 17 of the most popular superheroes that kids read about and watch in movies all the time! After they look through, ask your kids, “Which superhero are you?” Let’s see which one is their favorite!
Now it’s time to put these superhero printables to good use! Each of the 17 superheroes and the cover page come on a grid template to make the sketching easier. Thankfully, these superhero busts aren’t super detailed, so they are perfect for beginners. For those that are more advanced, they can always add as much detail as they want to their sketches.
All of the superhero characters are different, but some are easier to sketch than others. Kids can begin with either the easiest to sketch or with their favorite one. It doesn’t really matter, but the good thing is that it will be fun either way! Sketch with a good, sharp pencil and then use colored pencils to color.
