This post is so unique to our blog and it was so much fun to do! We are excited to share with you a small list of fun superhero children’s books and activity that we did as well as free superhero printable pages that you can download here.
Don’t forget to read to the very end because we have a list of more superhero and even some princess posts. And come see our book list hub! It is full of lists of books on all kinds of topics on all subjects! You will love it and find it very helpful!
To begin this Superhero Children’s Books & Activity {Printables} post, we started by reading several superhero books. Below, you see the three that we read. Click on any of them to get more information for each of them.
These stories were so much fun to read. We took turn reading, we made up voices and dramatized every word in them. The two books underneath are some that might be interesting to read, too. I have a son and a daughter, so I’m curious to see how each connects to my boy and my girl.
And now for the activity… I made these printable pages that can serve two purposes. These papers can be used to practice handwriting by writing the superheroes’ names on the guided lines or the lines could be used to write a unique adventure by that superhero.
There are seven pages, one with a different superhero, including Batman, Captain America, Flash, Robin, Spiderman, Superman and Thor. Each page has a picture of the superhero and guided lines for writing. Let your kids practice writing or let your little ones’ imagination soar and write a fun superhero story to read aloud and share with siblings or the entire family.
When I told my son about this “Superhero Children’s Books & Activity,” he was super excited. He immediately took the booklet from me and rushed to the homeschool room to start using it. For the first two pages, he decided to write the superhero names on the lines. For the rest of the pages, he wrote fun adventure stories where the superhero saved the day.
I made the pages a booklet, but you can keep the pages separate or use a 3-hole punch to put in a 3-ring binder. What I did was put all of the pages that I printed in color in a stack and then folded about an inch over forward and staple them together.
Have you watched this StopMotion video my son made using Lego Superheroes? Watch it here! It was so much fun to make!
