Our US Presidents studies continue! We are having so much fun! In this post, we share with you some awesome printable US Presidents Coloring Pages for Kids. They can be used in a few different ways, so let me show you what we did.

US Presidents Homeschool Printable Coloring Pages for Kids

First, I printed these wonderful US President coloring sheets in black and white, single-sided and on regular paper (not cardstock). Print one set per child. Then I cut each individual coloring page and at first, used them as flashcards. It was nice seeing them all spread out.

We read the information for each (full name, nickname and the ordinal place in which each was in office). Both kids did this with all of  their US Presidents activity coloring pages.

Then, we put these printable President coloring pages in order, using the ordinal numbers in which each President was in office. My son liked the idea of stacking them up in the correct order and then placed the cover page so I could staple them together and make a coloring book.

My daughter, on the other hand, decided to place hers in the order of the ones she recognized right away and the ones she still needed to learn in the back. Either way is ok. You don’t have to staple them if you don’t want. You can put them up on the wall as timeline cards to learn the order in which they were in office.

Lastly, they did what my daughter loves best: they colored the pages! It was really fun hearing them talk about the Presidents and facts they knew about them as they colored. I love it when they stay on task. Can you think of any other ways to use these cards?
