My favorite fall activity to do with our kids is definitely going to a pumpkin patch. When we lived in CO, we found a great one and would walk through, take pictures, pick out pumpkins, eat some delicious BBQ, and have a great day. It is something we enjoy making an afternoon out of, instead of a few minutes to get one at the store. ๐

Every year our family visits our local fruit farm’s annual Apple Harvest Open House. Then, we head over to a small, but very interesting, national park that is near the fruit farm. We have a picnic and eat some of the goodies that we purchased earlier in the day, and then we walk on the trails around the park. It is always a fun day spent making some great family memories!

We do a lot of fun stuff in the fall. But the favourite one probably is going to a local farm, which offers petting zoo, a playground and a huge hay pile, where my kids jump and have a blast.
