My children love helping me make cinnamon applesauce year-round, not only because it is delicious, but also because it is so simple to do.

100+ Favorite Fall Kids Activities, Recipes, Lessons & Printables
I know that carving pumpkins are a must for Fall kids activities, but what if you get your pumpkins early in the month and you don’t want to carve them just yet? We went to a pumpkin patch yesterday and we got a pumpkin for each of our children. It is too early in the month to carve them, so we decided to do something really fun: decorate them!
We got a pumpkin decorating kit and made them look fantastic, with the help of tacky glue. Our children had a fun time coming up with ideas on how to decorate their pumpkins and once they had a final “look,” we watched them glue the pieces and the pumpkins got fun personalities!
Another “must-do” activity, like I said, is to carve pumpkins! It can be such a great sensory activity for children. We used child-sized tongs and a stainless steel ice cream scoop. After carving the pumpkins, you can also roast the seeds to enjoy as a snack. There are recipes of sweet and savory pumpkin seeds.
Here are some of our favorite Fall books! Take a look at our list and be sure to add them to your list. They are fun and educational books about the best season ever.

These two pumpkin crafts are simple and fun. The first one is based on the book Five Little Pumpkins. My children loved these two Fall kids activities and were wanting more using sticky foam pumpkins.
