Fall is definitely our favorite season.
We love the weather, the season change, the leaves falling, the cinnamon smells, the pumpkin flavors, the celebrations…
in other words, we love everything!
To make Fall even more special, we pick some seasonal books to read for the next month or so.
Every year, without fail, we are able to add more books to our “Fall Favorites” list.

This is a GREAT book!
It doesn’t have a storyline, per se, but it does have many early pioneer holiday traditions (not just Fall) and it provides detailed explanations and how-tos of these traditions from long ago.
Some of them are still used today and others were brand new to us. We especially took note of some of the recipes.
They looked delicious!
