This recipe on bacon wrapped asparagus is delicious and healthy! I like to make my bacon wrapped asparagus in the oven instead of frying it. You can also cook asparagus bacon on the grill! Well, to be honest, the best way to make easy bacon wrapped asparagus is in the oven. It’s quick. It’s easy. It’s delicious.
Ingredients:
American Bakeware Large Baking Sheet – Non StickZoe Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1 Liter tinsSherpa Pink Himalayan Salt, 2lbs Extra-Fine GrainLe Creuset Heritage Stoneware 12-by-9-Inch Covered Rectangular Dish,
- 24 stalks of asparagus
- 12 slices of bacon or prosciutto
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, pressed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Himalayan or coarse sea salt to taste
- ground pepper to taste
Paleo & Keto Friendly Bacon Asparagus Recipe
This is the best way to make baked asparagus bacon. Trust me. It is just as tasty and just as delicious. You can make bacon wrapped asparagus at any time, especially when you are running late and you want a quick side. If your bacon is thawed, then it is a 20-minute side! You won’t regret giving this amazing bacon wrapped asparagus that’s oven baked a try!
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Trim about 1 inch off the bottom of each asparagus stalk.
- Cut bacon strips in half (longways)
- Wrap the bacon around each apparatus stalk and lay flat on a baking cookie sheet to keep the bacon from coming off.
- Put garlic, salt and pepper in olive oil in a mixing bowl and mix well.
- Drizzle over asparagus and bacon.
- Let it sit for about 10 minutes.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
- Optional: If you want them extra crispy, put the cookie sheet on the broiler for about 2 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
